Coolorado Overstuffed Dog Bed

Ridiculously plush. Ridiculously rugged.

This is a serious dog bed. Big, overstuffed, amazingly comfortable, and built from the same rugged materials used in military and tactical gear.

Each Coolorado dog bed is handmade in Pine, Colorado, with a tough, water-resistant 1000D mil-spec Cordura outer cover, a separate 330D mil-spec Cordura inner pillow, and a whopping 15-20 pounds of plush, CertiPUR-US shredded memory foam.

These aren't thin mats or lightly padded cushions. They're enormous, cushy beds that give under your dog's weight, conform to their body, and hold up to dogs that actually use their gear.

We made our first Cordura dog bed for our own six dogs, and they loved it. That original bed is still getting used all day, every day.

We used to go through cheap dog beds like crazy. We haven't bought one since.

BIG BEDS. SERIOUS COMFORT.

We make two generous sizes:

Large: 38" × 28" – stuffed with approximately 15 lbs of memory foam

XL: 44" × 32" – stuffed with approximately 20 lbs of memory foam

That's a LOT of memory foam.

Each bed is constructed with 5" side panels, but arrives much taller and puffier because of all that foam. The bed settles and conforms to your dog's body with use, so its height will change over time.

Want it flatter? Remove some foam. Want it fluffier? Add some back. You can store the extra foam in a sealed plastic bag until you need it.

WHY SHREDDED MEMORY FOAM?

We use USA-made, CertiPUR-US certified shredded memory foam from Lounj to create a soft, pillow-like cushion that settles around your dog's body.

The shredded foam distributes naturally as your dog gets comfortable, creating that wonderfully plush, sink-in feeling.

Todd even made his own pillow from this stuff.

Every Coolorado dog bed is handmade to order, and you get to choose exactly how yours looks. Pick your favorite colors from our full Cordura collection, whether that's a classic two-color combination, something completely unconventional, or one glorious color from top to bottom.

CUSTOM SIZES, SHAPES & TIE-DOWNS? ABSOLUTELY.

Need a bed that fits a specific space? We can do that.

We've made custom-sized beds for vehicle backseats, beds with cutouts to fit around features in truck campers, and one-off designs for unusual spaces. Whether you need a simple rectangle in just the right dimensions or something more complicated, we're happy to work with you.

We can also add webbing tie-down tabs so you can secure the bed in place, like we did for a custom vehicle backseat installation.

THE CONSTRUCTION

We don't cut corners on these beds.

• Outer cover: Heavy-duty 1000D mil-spec nylon Cordura with DWR water-resistant coating, double-stitched seams, and a long-side zipper for easy removal
• Inner pillow: Separate 330D mil-spec nylon Cordura liner with double-stitched seams and its own zipper for adjusting or refilling the memory foam
• Fill: Generously stuffed with USA-made, CertiPUR-US certified shredded memory foam from Lounj
• Air vents: Reinforced metal grommets along the zipper sides of both the inner and outer covers allow trapped air to escape as your dog settles onto the bed, so the cushion compresses naturally instead of ballooning with air
• Washable Cordura covers: Both fabrics are washable. The outer cover removes easily for routine cleaning, while the inner pillow adds a second protective layer around the foam
• Handmade: Cut, sewn, stuffed, and assembled by us in our workshop in Pine, Colorado

The Cordura is tough, abrasion-resistant, and water-resistant, but it's also flexible and has a comfortable woven texture. Our dogs love sleeping on it.

BUILT TO BE MAINTAINED, NOT REPLACED

We designed these beds so you can keep them going for years instead of throwing the whole thing away when something wears out.

Memory foam naturally settles and compresses with use. That's normal. The zippered inner pillow lets you redistribute or replenish the fill as needed.

We also sell replacement foam and outer covers separately, so you don't have to replace the entire bed when one component wears out.

CARE

For everyday dirt, shake it out or hose off the outer cover. Don't jet spray or power wash.

For deeper cleaning, remove the outer cover and machine wash on delicate/cold, then tumble dry on low (we like to throw in a few dry towels with it).

The inner Cordura pillow can be spot cleaned as needed. While its fabric is also machine washable, removing and replacing the shredded foam is a much bigger job, so we recommend leaving it assembled for routine care.

Do not machine wash the shredded memory foam. (We're talking to you, Sam E.! 😂)

OUR WARRANTY

We stand behind our workmanship.

Lifetime construction warranty: If a seam, zipper, or attachment fails because of a manufacturing defect, we'll fix or replace it for free.

What we don't cover: chewing damage (no bed is chew-proof, and we won't pretend ours is), normal foam compression, or general wear from years of use.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Each bed is handmade to order
• Ships vacuum-compressed to reduce shipping size
• Allow 24-48 hours after unboxing for the memory foam to fully expand
• Chew-resistant, not chew-proof. Supervise dogs who are inclined to destroy their bedding
• Most orders ship within 5–7 business days after production begins; complex custom requests or embroidery may take longer
